Estimator - Commercial Flooring

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a Specialist Flooring Contractor based in West Essex who are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator / Surveyor to join their successful team.

The company are well established and family run, have a superb reputation and client loyalty that sees them in a really strong trading position despite the current Covid-19 epidemic. The bulk of their work is within large Domestic type sites and therefore they need someone who is used to large scale Residential as well as various types Commercial Works, they are therefore seeking someone with an excellent all round knowledge and experience of Estimating for Flooring Contracts.

They are seeking an experienced Estimator who can carry out the following tasks:

• Visit Sites to Carry Out Surveys and Estimates.
• Prepare Costings and Estimates.
• Complete Tenders etc as required (this is not a key element of the role as our clients have long term well established works on behalf of their clients.
• Accurately work out costs.
• Source Materials and Labour at competitive rates.
• Client liaison and Sales / Business Development activity as required both as part of your day to day role and with an eye to future opportunities to grow the company order books.
